About Fiberglassing Old Holess — If PVA on the plywood allows a weak bond that can be separated, it seems the layer that replaces the plywood would also have a weak bond, unless thououghly washed, sanded, etc. Instead, suggest using a Release Fabric, such as sold by West Sustem/Gougeon. Nylon “flag material” from the fabric store will work also – same weave & epoxy resin won’t stick to it. Be sure to test, especially if using polyester. Release fabric leaves the right texture and no amine blush (from epoxy), so the surface is ready to go for the next layer of glass. Talk to Gougeon about it. They are Very Helpful.
Thanks for your great videos!
