Before getting started on the repairs I wanted to test the hull to see how extensive the painting process was going to be (specifically if I was needing to strip the hull of the existing paint or if I would be able to paint overtop when ready). To figure this out I needed to do a Compatibility / Solvent test.
This is a great way to figure out if you’re working with a 1 or 2 part paint!
